Building on a rich tradition of winemaking, the Nicolau family established their Organic Certified vineyards in 2018, dedicated to producing high-quality wines. The vineyards are cultivated using Regenerative Agriculture principles, promoting soil and plant health, resulting in wines that are well-balanced and truly expressive of their Terroir. Located near the Atlantic Coast, their vineyards benefit from calcareous clay soils, giving the wines a distinctive freshness, acidity, and minerality.

Sérgio Nicolau, a 5th-generation viticulturist and agroecologist, leads Família Nicolau Wines, a family project rooted in a rich tradition of winemaking. Established as Organic Certified in 2018, the winery employs Regenerative Agriculture practices, including animal integration, composting, cover crops, and precision plant nutrition, to restore soil health and biodiversity. Sérgio also shares his expertise as a consultant and educator, supporting farmers transitioning to regenerative practices while remaining deeply involved in his local agricultural community.
